Hey friends!
Today is "day 9" it's actually the 11th, but apparently I really suck at writing these post... I am really upset about how long it is taking me. I was definitely planning on getting these out on time, but we've had a really rough time with Eliza this month so far.. December has definitely not gone as planned in the slightest...
For the 9th, I had an interview at Ponce City Market, and then we hung out down there for a little bit. We also drove around the Atlanta area for a little bit! I got to see where some of the filming for one of my favorite tv shows (The Resident) is! We, then, decided to head back towards Marietta. We went to Marietta Square and Marietta Square Market and walked around and just had fun together.

Our advent for today said to make a gingerbread house, we had not bought the gingerbread house yet, so we headed to Walmart and purchased that, and made that when we got back home! Kaitlyn also arrived this day! Eliza had another ROUGH time sleeping/trying to sleep. It took her FOREVER to go to sleep.
Today's Bible advent was a devotional, Genesis 3:15, Luke 1:26-33, Jeremiah 1:5, and Luke 12:7. The picture quote for today said, "Before Mary had time to doubt or become insecure, God gave her the confidence she needed to walk out His purpose for her life. For the promises of God to be fulfilled, the Savior must first be placed in His mother's womb. God was able to send and angel to deliver the plan to Mary. He comforted her before she even had time to doubt or let insecurity creep in. God gave her the confidence that He knew she needed to walk out His purpose.
Put yourself in Mary's shoes and think about the moment this angel came to you telling you that you are going to bare a son. When you haven't ever been intimate with a man. She was able to discover the extent of her God-given purpose.
Just as God chose Mary, he has also chosen you and has a divine purpose for you. He has entrusted us with great plans, just as he entrusted Mary. Ask God to reveal to you what He created you to do, and be confident that he has given you all of the tools or will give you all of the tools that you need to accomplish His plan!
"Father, thank You for the gift of Jesus. Thank You for choosing a woman like Mary to bring Him into the world. You used her as a vessel for Your greatest miracle. Thank You for also giving me a divine purpose. Help me to be still, to seek You, and to know You more during this season. Use this time to reveal more about Your purposeful me as I focus on the purpose of Christmas." - Prayer
"I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel." - Genesis 3:15
"In the sixth month, the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a town in Galilee called Nazareth, to a virgin engaged to a man named Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. And the angel came to her and said, "Rejoice, favored woman! The Lord is with you." But she was deeply troubled by this statement, wondering what kind of greeting this could be. Then the angel told her: Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. Now listen: You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will call His name Jesus. He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end." - Luke 1:26-33
"I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations" - Jeremiah 1:5
"Indeed, the hairs of your head are all counted. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows!" - Luke 12:7
