Life Update

This post is a completely different post than what I am usually posting, but it's a part of me and a part of who I am and I just wanted to let you in on it. When I was trying to figure out my title for this post, an idea popped into my head which was "Something New" that I decided against solely for the reason that when that title popped into my head God gave me a WHOLE post idea. So look for the blog post "Something New" coming soon. This post is definitely just a little life update for you, though.

Some of you may know, and some of you may think this is a whole new thing, but I just wanted to get us all on the same page. I am now a travel agent with Magically Fun Vacations. I'm not on the agent list on the website yet, but I am working on finishing my training. A few people remember when I started this back in 2019, but I decided I wasn't a big fan of the agency I started with so I decided to leave them and wasn't really looking at getting into a different agency. I was also in a whole new stage of life. I had just gotten pregnant when I started with the original travel agency and was just not in a place to be able to help people or sell vacations to people. I decided that was it and if I felt like I needed to do it later than God would let me know.

Well, I was in a class for school in 2020, and our professor had a few people come talk to us and one of the ladies that came to talk to us helped start up Magically Fun Vacations and God told me to ask her more about it. I asked her about it, so she gave me her email address to talk to her. I was planning on emailing her that upcoming week, and then the pandemic hit... Disney closed, the world shut down, and there went that thought of becoming a travel agent with it.

The past few weeks God has been reminding me of it and I was putting it to the side. Making excuse that I am too busy being a mom, finishing up my last trimester of school, looking at and preparing to move. (That's a whole other life update coming soon.) I decided to at least message the lady that came to speak to us and see what she had to say or if she even still remembered me. I messaged her, and she responded back within a few hours with the application and told me she'd let the owner know who I was. I completed the application, and in less than an hour the owner messaged me and asked me when a good time would be to talk on the phone with her. Eliza had just woken up from a nap, and I wasn't able to email her back or figure out when a good time would be until a day later. We got a date and time set up and had the call and she said, "I'll send you the contract, you can look over that and decide if you'd like to come on board with us."

Needless to say, I looked at the contract and decided to sign with them, so I am now an official vacation planner with Magically Fun Vacations. I'm extremely excited for this journey and can not wait to help people plan their vacations! With that being said, we plan vacations for quite literally anywhere and everywhere. I can plan cruises, Disney trips, Universal trips, trips to an all-inclusive resort, and so much more. The most important information for you is that my services are free to you!
